Setup Apache with SSL on Slackware

Author: | Posted in howto No comments

I’ve recorded another screencast showing how to setup Apache with SSL enabled on Slackware Linux. I used my previous Slackware 12.2 installation and the video is available on vimeo (again, registered vimeo users can download the original AVI version).

This setup is using the default httpd installation and the sample-keys files available with openvpn. In order to have your own customized keys, you’ll have to generate new ones using openssl.

Also, if not specified otherwise, httpd will listen to both ipv4 and ipv6 incoming connections. I set it up to listen to ipv4 connections only.
